....and a Happy New Year (part 2)
Woke up, homework, Kathy's house, 4 Christmases, couple making out in the theater, Subway coupons, free samples, Chasing Pavements stuck in my head all day, Aboubakare residence, Australian Open, Vietnamese food, playing guns with Jayden, red envelopes, playing guns with Jayden once more, Killer, weird sesame candy sticks, family moment, more homework, TOMS. Whatta nice day
(Thanks Khoung for finding me the shoes!)
I've been hearing firecrackers everywhere I go, I'm really starting to hate those things
Happy New Year everyone!

Roger Federer; Bond, James Bond
For the past few days, the only thing I've been watching on TV is the Australian Open, and Ihave to say that these guys are terrific. I mean, they should be of course, seeing that this is a pretty big deal, but Federer (for instance) is fantastic! Amazing. Superb. Magnificent. Sublime. I'm in awe. Tennis is so interesting
Speaking of fantastic, Quantum of Solace. Not as good as Casino Royale (the plot wasn't as amazing) but definantly worth the $1.75. Wow, that much money gets me a burrito at school. Daniel Craig was ravishing as always and the action was pretty mindblowing. Fights on land, in the air, and on water. Only a James Bond could do all of that and still manage to live through it all. Incredible!

I'm just a little bit caught in the middle
After a trip to Huntington Beach, walking along the pier, trying not to get pooped by by those pesky seagulls, and staring at a gorgeous volleyball player's back, In-N-Out was calling to us. However, my body was not strong enough to handle the deliciousness of the hambugers, and I went home and hit the couch, ready to take a 3 hour nap and sleep it all off. Unfortunately, volleyball practice crushed my napping dreams, and soon I was outside on the grass, running, jumping, serving, getting pelted in the face by balls, and almost peeing in my pants from being scared by Tiffany. But it was nice, hanging out with everyone again. After my exercise for the week, we sat around in my room, planning out texts to Khue's stalker boy/friend in AZ, making up strange stories about Barbie, bonfires, and a fake boyfriend. To top the day off, Mary, Daisy, Khue, and I made fettecine alfredo and foccacia bread for dinner, and managed to make it actually decent and edible! Success!

Oh dear,
It kinda sucks walking around, feeling the concrete through a hole in your shoe. I should just invest in a new pair of shoes, but its not quite that easy! I'm so incredibly picky, either I wait for my dream shoes to go on sale for a frugal price, or someone gets so disgusted by my footwear, they end up buying me a new pair. Why must I be so cheap?

Martha Stewart
I remember my 6th grade teacher dressing up as Martha Stewart for Halloween, and her saying how wonderful Ms. Stewart was. This came to my attention earlier tonight while I was eating dinner. Apparently, Martha Stewart teamed up w/ the Costco Kirkland brand, and made a line of soups for them. Turkey noodle soup to be exact, and it was quite awful....Sorry Mrs. O'Connor, but Martha Stewart isn't so wonderful (with her soup making skills anyway).

5,407 steps
It takes approximately 5,407 steps to walk home from school. (Thanks to my handy-dandy little pedometer that I won in Spanish class) Crazy!
Wind and contacts aren't exactly a great couple. Sometimes they get along fine, but the other times, its a raging war, with the contacts losing 99% of the time. Stupid lenses!
Today was a memorable day...I went to my first FVHS basketball game. And its amazing what an innocent and sad look on your face could do for you. We didn't know you had to pay to get in, so we turned dejectedly away and were just about to leave, when she felt sorry for us and let us go in for free! Yes! Unfortuntely we lost, but there was great company. And I never knew so many people went to basketballs games! Quite surprising
Happy Birthday Quynh!

Another Heart Calls
The new All American Rejects album is quite good, thanks Peter!
James Marsden=gorgeous
Spaghetti for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Youth Council was nice. Smelling Kelly's chlorine scented hand and taking a bite out of Tiffany's Danish while I stared at the hole in my favorite pair of flats...It might sound a bit odd, but I'm looking forward to next month's council. And seeing Dan was a nice surprise! I haven't seen him since the sport's tournament in the summer, and he looks exactly the same, just a bit more tan. How does he get so tan in the winter? I've got to ask him the next time I see him...
Lately, I've been told that my hair looks like extensions because its so incredibly crazy long. At first I thought these people were crazy, but after actually looking at the back of my head from a mirror held to a mirror, I realized they're right! I want to cut my hair to my shoulders so it'll be curlier and easier to take care of, but my mom says to wait til the summer. 6 more months baby...

Robin Sparkles
My throat is sore from screaming at little kids all night. Can't they just stay still for an hour? Maybe 2 hours? Little rascals. I got bit twice by a 2 year old boy! The guy has some sharp little teeth! But I couldn't stay mad at him because he's the cutest little thing ever. It's a weakness

Peppermint Ice Cream and Fried Rice
I feel like I should so a New Year's resolution because everyone else is making one, but I honestly have no idea what it should be...
Maybe to be a bit more brave
Maybe to try eating freaky Vietnamese food that grosses me out just looking at it
Maybe to stop procrastinating on everything I do
Maybe to keep my closet clean
Maybe to be more aware
Maybe to talk more with my parents
Maybe to give and be more altruistic
Maybe to patch up old friendships
Maybe to learn more Vietnamese so my g-ma doesn't laugh at me
Maybe to finish the Spuds in Spurs calendar that Khue and I have yet to begin
Maybe to actually wear my retainer every night
Just maybe....

Lilith Jenna Bari
It's such a terrible idea to be on a cupcake website when you're starving, trust me (drool all over the keyboard.) But I've got to hand it to these folks, when they get bored, at least they do something productive
I finally watched The Dark Knight today and it was fantastic. I thought I was going to throw up a bit in my mouth when the Joker was going to cut that guys face, but thankfully they didn't show too much of that scene and my omelette stayed happily in my stomach. After watching the Rose Bowl where Penn State was shamefully beaten by USC, I was driven on over to Mainplace where I walked around in circles with Tiffany and Jessica. I finally got to see my niece(?) Lilith Jenna Bari on videochat when we got back home, and shes quite a fatty, but adorable nonetheless.

....and a Happy New Year
Well, it wasn't the best New Year's eve, but it certainly wasn't the worst. Work, grocery shopping, magazines, pho, vanilla ice cream and apple cider, the most awful movie I have ever seen, ball dropping in Times Square, and then some more television. Hello 2009!
