....and a Happy New Year (part 2)
Woke up, homework, Kathy's house, 4 Christmases, couple making out in the theater, Subway coupons, free samples, Chasing Pavements stuck in my head all day, Aboubakare residence, Australian Open, Vietnamese food, playing guns with Jayden, red envelopes, playing guns with Jayden once more, Killer, weird sesame candy sticks, family moment, more homework, TOMS. Whatta nice day
(Thanks Khoung for finding me the shoes!)
I've been hearing firecrackers everywhere I go, I'm really starting to hate those things
Happy New Year everyone!

Roger Federer; Bond, James Bond
For the past few days, the only thing I've been watching on TV is the Australian Open, and Ihave to say that these guys are terrific. I mean, they should be of course, seeing that this is a pretty big deal, but Federer (for instance) is fantastic! Amazing. Superb. Magnificent. Sublime. I'm in awe. Tennis is so interesting
Speaking of fantastic, Quantum of Solace. Not as good as Casino Royale (the plot wasn't as amazing) but definantly worth the $1.75. Wow, that much money gets me a burrito at school. Daniel Craig was ravishing as always and the action was pretty mindblowing. Fights on land, in the air, and on water. Only a James Bond could do all of that and still manage to live through it all. Incredible!

I'm just a little bit caught in the middle
After a trip to Huntington Beach, walking along the pier, trying not to get pooped by by those pesky seagulls, and staring at a gorgeous volleyball player's back, In-N-Out was calling to us. However, my body was not strong enough to handle the deliciousness of the hambugers, and I went home and hit the couch, ready to take a 3 hour nap and sleep it all off. Unfortunately, volleyball practice crushed my napping dreams, and soon I was outside on the grass, running, jumping, serving, getting pelted in the face by balls, and almost peeing in my pants from being scared by Tiffany. But it was nice, hanging out with everyone again. After my exercise for the week, we sat around in my room, planning out texts to Khue's stalker boy/friend in AZ, making up strange stories about Barbie, bonfires, and a fake boyfriend. To top the day off, Mary, Daisy, Khue, and I made fettecine alfredo and foccacia bread for dinner, and managed to make it actually decent and edible! Success!
So much for studying

Oh dear,
It kinda sucks walking around, feeling the concrete through a hole in your shoe. I should just invest in a new pair of shoes, but its not quite that easy! I'm so incredibly picky, either I wait for my dream shoes to go on sale for a frugal price, or someone gets so disgusted by my footwear, they end up buying me a new pair. Why must I be so cheap?
