The Biggest Loser

I'm not a huge fan of reality television, but I gotta say, The Biggest Loser is such a great show! Okay, so it's a bit dramatic, and a bit lame at times, but it's seriously inspiring. It makes me want to shun chips and jump on a treadmill. Well, almost.... but I recommend it if you want to feel inspired, or just want to see people sweat a lot.

Hips Don't Lie

I love cousin jam sessions. A little bit of Shakira, some Colbie Caillat, add a bit of Jason Mraz and Flight of the Conchords, throw in a little We the Kings, Taylor Swift, and OneRepublic, and you've got yourself a party.

Geez, I feel so blessed right now after hearing Audrey's horror stories of crazy LQ and Bolsa Grande. She makes stabbings seem like everyday occurences! "Oh him? Yeah, he was stabbed 25 times last year." SAY WHAT?!?!? Kids these days!

Come on! 10 points behind? Really??

Today was interesting. After going home and eating a burrito, Branden had an impromptu stop at my house and he, Mary, and I talked about some interesting topics that were quite surprising...and ironic. Who knew?

Skinny Cow Ice Cream

I've been scratching like crazy the past few days. Stupid grass and volleyball! My legs look quite strange; they're tannish but have these long nail marks on the side of them from excessive scratching and then weird marks pressed into my skin because I sat on my chair abnormally. Can you just imagine it? Actually it probably shouldn't be imagined, because some things should be kept from the imagination...

My sister says I exaggerate a lot. I can't say I don't agree.

Many things have occurred in the past week or so that are lost in Blogspot, but I'll just mention the most important thing: Phil Wickham. Wonderful, fantastic, marvelous, great, loud, terrific, are just a few adjectives that come to mind. And oh yeah: Awesome. There's another one! Hooray for concerts!

Keri Hilson is terrific
A good road trip album for sure

I think I've already used up a box of these already. Allergies suck
Hooray for modified days

Black and Gold

I know its a bit on the late side, but I had a truly terrific spring break. Aside from the lack of sleep and never ending food coma, it was just plain nice. AZ, some good ol cousin bonding, slumming it at home, reading 10 books, heading to LA with the Phamily, volleyball practice and hanging out with the gang (you'd think you's get sick of spending 10 hours w/ the same people but this group is an exeption I tell you), Easter services, climbing hills, squishing snails, chilling and listening to cousins strumming the guitar and having some singalongs...

AWESOME

Speaking of awesome...Sam Sparro. Thank you Mai Linh!

Out and about in good ol LA

Just 2 pictures I stole from Thein from the AZ trip. Hopefully I can steal some more and post them up, but I'm too lazy to be in the robbing mood.

Today was family day. Just mom, dad, Mary, Daisy, and I hanging out. It was actually pretty fun. We decided to play the tourist card and booked it on over to good ol LA for some sightseeing and shopping. Drove to The Grove and got lunch at the Farmer's Market. Delicious (but pricey). Then we took the "tram" to the other side of The Grove which was kinda pointless because I could run faster than that train, but it was still nice. I ended up sitting to some folks with British accents and I enjoyed listening to whatever they were saying, just for kicks. Man, accents are so cool. After our slow train ride, we checked out some stores and I ended up helping my mom pick out clothes. I love helping people with clothes! It gives me such a joy...kinda sad! THEN we went to the American Doll place. For anyone who hasn't been there, I'll just say this: It's quite an experience. Little girls and their doting parents spending hundreds of dollars buying dolls, strollers, clothes, having tea parties in the cafe, waiting in line so their dolls can get a haircut.... It's insane, but so so intriguing.

Next we headed off to the Kodak Theater and such. I felt like such a tourist even though I've been there 4 or 5 times already. It's actually pretty cool, there's so much going on and so much history. People watching is also pretty interesting. We took a tour inside the theater and its actually not as big as it looks on TV. Still epic though.

Then it was off to the Griffith Observatory. It has such amazing views. Even though it was windy, freezing, and I forgot to bring my chapstick, it was still beautiful. It also has this enormous planetarium that is comfy and has amazing graphics. It was kinda weird though, because the lady doing the commentary for the show had the smae voice as those people on kost 103.5. You know, those voices that are very smooth and creamy and you feel like they're going to hypnotize you and take over the world. One of those voices.

We finished off w/ dinner at In-N-Out. Man, this has turned out to be the most fattening Easter break ever. Seriously, it's kind of disgusting how much food I've consumed over the past few days. Oh well, 8 minute abs and some Billy Blank Bootcamp should do the trick!

Gosh dangit

AAAAHHHHHH!!!! Dangit dangit dangit dangit

Road trip

It's so strange to know that someone thinks you're interesting. Because really, my life is about the most monotonous life you will ever be able to find. It goes a little something like this: Phamily, church, school, eat, sleep, repeat. Done.

Everyone is so serious and contemplative in their blogs! I feel like I should try and write something really worthwhile, something smart and intellectual, but then I open up a new post and end up putting pictures of hot guys and shoes. So much for that!

YES! Just 2 more days and it's off to AZ for a few days. Crammed car stuffed with 7 cousins driving for 6 hours? Yes please! Man, I love my family.

hahaha, What a great show
