It's raining, it's pouring
I know it's weird, but I like being alone. I like being by myself. Not all the time, but I don't mind going to the movies by myself. Going to the bathroom by myself. Sitting all alone at a table. I know, I'm strange. I like being friendly and meeting new people. I love it! But I'm an introvert at heart. A boring introvert at that. I'd rather stay home and do homework than go ice skating with friends. I'd rather watch a movie on my couch than go to a birthday party. I'd rather bake snickerdoodle cookies than go out to eat. Loner, I know, but I kind of like it! It's not the normal approach to things, but I have more fun just sitting and drinking a cup of apple cider and watching Elf than going to dances or movie theaters. The rains' got me in a loner mood =)

Breakfast for Dinner
My mind is in shambles
I need to talk to people more about what's running through my brain, because keeping it all in is making me go a bit crazy
I need to escape to Arizona for a week and have late night conversations and stay up baking cake and and watching ridiculous movies
It seems like everyone knows what they want to do in life. They know that they want to be a doctor or psychiatrist or pharmacist or something successful like that. And then they ask me...and I smile and change the subject. Because quite honestly, I think my dreams job is silly compared to everyone else's. You know what sounds amazing to me? Working in the music industry and being an A&R Representative. I don't think many people know what that means, but I did a project on it freshman year, and it sounded amazing! Another dream job would to work in the fashion industry, at some magazine, designing and making up layouts and all that jazz. But these sound so simple and impractical compared to everyone else's dreams.
But the thing is I cannot imagine myself working in a business office, filing papers all day and sitting at a desk on the computer. Been there, done that, and I absolutely detest it. Why do something you don't love? My attitude is the same with guys! Why go out with someone when you don't even like them that much, or you know it's not even going to last? I know some of my friends think I'm insane, but hey, it's all good! I kinda feel bad if anyone ever likes me, because I'm an ignorer and (even if I like them a lot) I won't go out with them. That's where the insane part comes in. =) Issues man, issues! I have all these crushes too, that's the funny part. I have crushes on so many guys its ridiculous, but if I find out they like me, I just run away. Ahhhh, this is what I get for not blogging for a long time!
On a lighter, note, this song is my new obsession. "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum. Regardless of what people say, country music is pretty good! Not that twangy crazy stuff, but a little banjo here and there won't kill you!
A lot has happened in the past couple of months. But I know more than ever that life is short, and we just have to let things work themselves out, even if its not what we expected, or what we wanted. My uncle Yosef died this morning, and even though I didn't know him too well, my heart just breaks for Roselynne and her mom. I love my family so much, and it kills me to see them like this. Oh geez, I feel myself tearing up! What do you say to someone who just lost someone they love?

Cuz if you jump I will jump too
Hi. My name is Aimee. And I love Joanna Pham.
I've been so unproductive it's ridiculous! I'm hitting myself in the head trying to get stuff done...and then all of a sudden something pops up and I realize I just spent an hour looking at old Taylor Swift Youtube videos. And I'm wondering why I'm failing school!
I feel like I don't have anything interesting to write about anymore. Or if something interesting does occur, I don't write about it til later and I forget everything. BUT NO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK! And Khue is most likely coming over! Black Friday anyone? Which reminds me I really need to work a day or two to get some monies. Wow...that sounds a bit sketchy! I swear it's not!
Okie dokie, let's take a crack at some Scarlet Letter, shall we? Yes, we shall!

Aaron Carter on Dancing with the Stars makes me laugh
HOLY COW! I haven't posted anything here in almost a month! Fail man, fail!
Hello Blogspot, nice to have a virtual chat with you again, it's been a while. We should maybe get reacquainted, yes?
So my dad made dinner tonight. Pretty nifty, huh? Well, I came home from School Site Council and went straight to the kitchen to stuff my face with food, and I found myself staring at an orange and dark orange gooey onion-y concoction in one pan, and fried up ramen noodles in the other.
"What is this?" I asked my mother.
"I'm not sure." she whispered.
"Is it okay to eat?" I replied"
"Yeah, it's not too bad..." was her answer.
"What the heck IS it?" I questioned.
"Well, it's chicken noodle soup with flour to make it thicker so it's kinda like chicken noodle soup gravy." she answered.
SAY WHAT?? Chicken noodle soup gravy? For reals? Now does that just seen crazy to you, or what? So weird, so weird. In the end, it wasn't too bad, kinda salty, kinda scary, but it was actually kinda tasty. But lesson to be learned, the words gravy and chicken noodle soup really shouldn't go together, you know? Just sayin'
Guess what? I FINISHED MAKING MY 100 POSTERS TODAY! Can I get a high-5? Yesssss
Good stuff, good stuff
Okay, have a lovely evening!

We are not who you think we are, we are golden
I am a traitor
I have succumbed to the prettiness of Tumblr
aimeepham.tumblr.com
It's just so darn easy!
And lovely!
I won't put the same stuff on both
No worries
But I think I'll be puttin' up more pictures on Tumblr
It's wayyy easier...and cooler!
I've been watching Glee, and I have a question:
"Is this show really as good as I think it is?"
And I have a comment:
"Yes."
hahahaha! I love Mr. Demitri Martin
He's a bundle of laughs I tell ya
I made myself a massive glass of chocolate milk
It was pretty good, but I think I've had my calcium fix for the week
Nesquick chocolate milk powder is pretty good
But Nesquick chocolate milk in the bottle is BOMB
It's like a portable milkshake
My mom bought some Organic Vanilla Soy Milk at Costco
Its pretty tasty, almost as good as chocolate soy milk
Well I was drinking some in my room and didn't finish all of it
I forgot to put the cup away because I was busy
It was there for a day
And when I remembered and went to wash the cup
The soy milk had condensed
And it was solid-custard like
GROSS!
Glee has been awesome awesome awesome
I recommend everyone watch
Wednesday's episode was fantastic
I think Daisy almost cried from laughing so hard
Good stuff!
The new Mika album is pretty good!
I think I still like the first the best
But this one is just as catchy
"We are Golden" and "Blame it on the Girls" are my favorites!
And the album artwork is crazy looking and terrific
This is what happens when I don't blog for awhile
It starts getting all nonsensical and long
I like that word, nonsensical
It's quite a pretty word
But it also sounds kind of mysterious
Okay, no I'm just talking crazy
I think I need some sleep
No, I know I need sleep
Sleep sleep sleep
Okay, that's enough
I've gots stuff to do
I miss being lazy and doing nothing
Thank God it's Friday!
Oops, I talked about Glee twice at two different parts
My bad!

In-N-Out ftw!
I miss the days
When I came home from school
and ate string cheese
and did homework
and Myspaced it up
and blogged
and went to sleep.
I was reading some of my old blogs...and I've come to the conclusion that I'm a bit nuts
Just a tad
A little smidgen
A teensy tiny bit
Just a little
nuts

Going Greek
This year's gonna be a doozy
But let's just make it happen
Positive attitude and all that rainbow sunshine stuff!
I missed Kathy, and I'll miss her even more knowing that she won't be coming back. Sure it's only San Diego, not crazy far, but just not having her here.... She's the one who taught me everything! The one who opened my eyes to the wonderful world of music, clothing, Buffalo Exchange, Urban Outfitters, Thai food, Rockharbor, Alerto's, Chipotle, LA, sales, window shopping, and cheap movie theaters. She made me experience new things; try new foods, new places, new books and movies. Oh man...but she's out there doing awesome things in San Diego, so all the best cousin!
♥
Never Been Kissed! Such a cute, funny, sad, mildly disturbing movie...
And I couldn't help myself from staring the entire time...=D
I've been so busy it's crazy
I'm not used to it yet, I don't know if I will be
But I'm also loving it
I like my classes (for the most part!)
I just need to learn how to prioritize
Stay grounded
I was talking to Alan about it for a tad bit at the dance, and he said it's possible...and I'm going to go with him on that
So ladies and gentlemen...
Let's make it a good year, shall we?

Hot Rod!
May I recommend the movie Hot Rod? Because I'm getting tired of no one having watched it! Except the Phamily...and Roger...and Tanner. I have a guy's sense of humor. Yes, the movie is quite stupid and juvenile...but Andy Samburg is in it! And every other line is quotable, it's fantastic!

Summa'
It's a new year. Let's make the most of it, shall we? I've got a good feeling about this year. I honestly do.
This summer was fantastical. Superb. Just lovely. I made some new friends. Re-newed some friendships. Saw some old friends. Learned some things. Forgot some other things. Watched a gazillion movies. Used up all my money buying clothes. Procrastinated. Ate some awesome food. Had many interesting conversations. Bummed it out with the Phamily. Watched Glee 5 times. Had a short infatuation with Enrique Iglesias. Had a love affair with Barnes and Nobles. Watched way too much TV. Set a base for a future in skin cancer. Stayed up late and woke up early. Just lovely!
"Cause when the roof caved in and the truth came out I just didn't know what to do..."
I'm in love with this song, it's been on repeat for the last couple of hours
Mean Girls + Funfetti cake = a great way to end summer =D

Phamily Love
Not my phone, but ISN'T THIS PICTURE B.A.??? My Phamily boys are looking quite dapper
But I did get a phone! I'm finally cool. I'm finally normal. How interesting! Because my mother is a Blackberry fanatic, I have the same exact phone as my dad. NICE. Blackberry pearl flip to be exact. Believe me, it sounds much cooler than it looks! But I'm happy with it, my ringtone makes me laugh!

So much went on, it's weird to talk about it all, but I'll just say it was more than I ever thought it would be! Awesome

Amazing because it is
Man! Whatta day!
First 8 A.M. poster party with the lovely ASB. A little run to Starbucks w/ Monica who...wasn't the greatest parker in the world, but is getting there! My house after posters w/ Josie and Kassandra, making our fantastic bird fairy princess costumes....AWESOME! Got tricked into going to the bank and Costco with my mom, but the samples weren't too bad! Always a bonus I must say. Pho with the family, talking about wild children and halfies. Costco again to fill up the tank with some good o' gasoline, and then walking home and stopping by Starbucks! Peppermint latte anyone? BURN NOTICE SEASON FINALE! Hello Jeffrey Donovan! And then talking with Khue for hours about crazy Czech boys, marriage proposals, awkward turtles, age differences, crazy aunts.... Not nearly as good as a sleepover, but enough to keep me satisfied until AZ in a few weeks! Wow, so THIS is what coffee does to me! Amazing!

Sports Tournament 2009. I'm so proud of our boys! First place man! 3rd time's the charm, right Johnson? Too bad I have to make the photos so itty bitty, they looks a lot better bigger! Maybe I can steal some pictures from Thien later..... (Excuse the random spaces, my computer is acting up on me!)
I love meeting new people!

Me. Yes. Me.
Aimee Pham. Many people often misspell my name. Amy. Amie. Amiee. Aymie. It gets pretty interesting I have to admit! A game of sorts. The only people not close to me who spell my name right are my cousins in France. Barbara and Valerie. Aimee is apparently the French way of spelling it. Amy is the more American way of spelling it. Amie....well that's just weird. Ha! I kid, I love you Amie Tang!
Many people have nicknames. I've always loved nicknames, but unfortunately, Aimee isn't such a great nickname name. Aim. There are 4 people I know of that call me Aim. One being my mother. The other 3 are all in the same family: Nate, Matt, and Uncle Charlie. Why do they call me this? Who knows? But if I hear someone at work say "Aim," I automatically know it's Nate. So perhaps this is a good thing? Mee. Now what kind of lame nickname is that I ask you! "What's up Mee?" "Hey Mee, how are things?" Yeah, doesn't sound so cute.
You know what's the absolute worst part about having a name that's different? You never find those little license plates or keychains or necklaces with your name on it. When I was a kid, I used to scour the racks of every single tourist shop on vacations, hoping and praying that I would find my name. Now as an older kid, I just quickly scan the racks to pretend like I'm admiring the design of the license plate/keychain/necklace, but secretly search for A I M E E. One day, I found one. I went into PuzzleZoo at South Coast Plaza. I wasn't expecting much, I don't even know why I was in the store, I just gravitated on over to the license plates as was custom. And then suddenly, BOOM! There it was. I think I might have cried our in joy. It was a day to remember. Unfortunately I lost the metal plate a while back, but it's nice to know someone out there was lovely and kind enough to produce an "Aimee" license plate.
The End!

What a feeling!
It's been an interesting week. Let's recap, shall we?
Doughnut holes, walking, hot, Cassie, Lilith, Jameel, CPK for Red Cross, Barnes and Nobles, waking up way too early, sore back and legs, volleyball, win, lose, win, lose, Disneyland, cotton candy, walking, Kenningtons, hot, Hurley Walk the Walk, cigaretter smoke, an ocean of half-naked people, In-N-Out, no sleep, 8 AM game, win, lose, Amy's sliced open ear, hospital, stitches, forfiet, fantastic yogurt, boy's volleyball owned, sore back and legs, hot, popsicles, church, Costco hot dogs, hot, nap!, track and field, Daisy won 2nd place in 1/2 mile, Richard won 2d place in mile, chasing Sylvie, tickling Sylvie, trying to find my shoes which Sylvie hid, tug-o-war, In-N-Out, home, Flashdance, computer
Done! What a jumbled mess of nonsense and adjectives! After many sleep deprived days, I think I might actually sleep in tomorrow morning for the first time in 1 1/2 weeks!
Ahhh, I miss the little munchkin and the little punk. Let's sail on over to Hawaii and visit, anyone in?

Dilemma: choice between two equal options
Looking at Joanna's Sonic picture made me craze for late night runs to Sonic in AZ. I miss my Arizona cousins! But seeing Cassie, Lilith, and Jameel almost made up for it. Whatta little punk! Gotta love Phamily!
I remember one night, maybe 5 or 6 years ago when I was watching TV with my dad (during The Lakers' golden years). A Lakers' commercial came on with Kobe and Shaq and some song that I've never heard before. But what caught my attention were the lyrics "why can't we be friends?" One time commercial ~5 years ago, and whenever a situation comes up where people are arguing I always want to start singing why can't we be friends... Granted I only know that one line and the song would come to an abrupt halt after that little sentence, but still! Why can't we be friends? Please? Pretty pretty please? I guess I knew what I should have been in for when I signed up for the part, but.... I guess my expectations were a little too high. Dangit
You shouldn't cry over spilt milk. Unless it's Chuck Norris's milk. Then you're dead.

I'm exhausted and sore and happy and proud and still excited and even more exhuasted
What a wonderful day! I love my team
And now it's 11:06 and I just read a great article in Reader's Digest and ate cold pizza
Oh how I love summer

It's a beautiful day
I love summer. I really really do. Darn those little kids in my neighborhood who always set off firecrackers! Where the heck do they get those things in the middle of July? I mean, I guess you could always stock up for the year during the 4th of July, but is that really practical?
Vacation was nice, chilling with the little cousins I usually never see. I already miss them! Gio telling me his dreams about rockets and jets and Disneyland and flying castles. Matthew standing outside our room at 11:30 opening and closing the door and grinning. Sarah throwing rock hard sandballs. Caleb catching a frog and having it die the next day. Faith with her crazy tan. Rachel with her non-talking ways. I love 'em all
Aladdin. Beauty and the Beast. Aristocats. The Incredibles. Lady and the Tramp. The Little Rascals. Shrek. The Pacifier. The Lion King. All the VHS tapes I watched in 2 1/2 days. Good stuff! Throw in some late night pool competitions, early morning wake-up calls, kayaking, tag, ham and cheese sandwiches, sunburns, and Rite Aid ice cream (Chocolate Malted Crunch anyone?) and you've got yourself a vacation!

Well-placed purple streaks
Goodness gracious, it's been a long couple of days!
Thursday: In the morning we started off with a lovely ASB poster party where I accidentally spilled ink on my hands and legs, painted the ugliest basketball I've ever painted in my life, and burned the bottoms of my feet. Good stuff. Next was volleyball practice with the wonderful crew where I managed to get a v-neck tan and burn my face. Blech. Then some shopping at The Lab where I bought some items from Buffalo and Urban (YES!) and then off to Souplantation for Kathy's going away birthday dinner for the cousins. Kathy had to leave after that, so we headed on over to my house and had a delightful time laughing and quoting lines from Zoolander. Good stuff!
Friday: My parents being the parents they are trekked us on up to Simi Valley, CA to go to the Ronald Reagan Library. It was actually pretty cool! At the Library/Museum, they keep the retired Air Force One, and you get to walk inside the plane and seen where the presidents lived during their flights and all that wonderful stuff. I'll never admit it to my parents, but I love museums, they're fascinating and so interesting! After beating rush hour traffic, we had a BBQ in the backyard grilling turkey and mahi-mahi burgers. yeah, I know, not real burgers, but hey, that's my mother, and they were delicious! Then Definitely, Maybe with the Dais-ter.
Saturday: 4th of July!! Went bike riding with my mom and sisters around Mile Square and saw a bajillion people. Everywhere you look, you see volleyball nets and little kids running around like savages. It's terrific! And you can't escape the smell of BBQ. I think I might have drooled the entire time we were riding, the smell doesn't leave you! Next was dinner at the Davis', a little fried chicken an mashed potato action. Yum! Afterwards, JoLiza, Joseph, Branden, Mary, Daisy, and I walked over to Downtown Disney and scouted the place out a bit. Boy was it packed. We sat down in the space between the 2 parks to watch the fireworks, but it was a disappointment. Only 6 minutes of fireworks! We're in a recession! hahaha, I love Khue! Good company and good embarrassing stories though!
mmmmm, American flag cake is so good!!

Cuz I gotta feeling
I. LOVE. THE BEACH.The wonderfully colorful umbrellas and bathing suits and crazy little kids trying to fight the ocean. Even the part where you stand up out of car after a long day at the beach and discover you took half of the beach with you and spend 20 minutes trying to get all the sand off. And the part where you're so exhausted afterwards, you come in the house, maybe grab some jello, and then head to the nearest couch/bed and crash
Corona del Mar beach is my home away from home

Shia Lebouf anyone?
Hey, ink stained fingers DO come off pretty easily! Well...I guess I did wash my hands about 10 times today and washed Mary's car, so it was bound to come off sooner or later. I'm counting on some more ink stained fingertips every Tuesday and Thursday til the end of summer. This year's Edison week posters will be...interesting. hahaha, Lots and lots of interesting ones! Just a few to do with forest fires and Shamu and derivatives. Sound amusing?
Today was a good learning experience for me for volleyball. Lots and lots of work to do in THAT department!
Shower. Poster party. Lunch. Volleyball practice. 7-11. Watching v-ball games @ Los Amigos. Singing w/ Amy Peterson. Home. Car wash w/ Mary. Dinner.
My day in a nutshell! Actually, I haven't eaten dinner yet, but the smells of roasting chicken are wafting through my door at this moment, so I'm just pretending that I'm stuffing my face. hahaha, and I don't even like chicken! It just smells so good!
I need to watch a new movie tonight...hmmm....Clueless or Devil Wears Prada? I guess its one of those "pick which hand!" nights again.
Daisy, you are amazing at making playlists. Seriously amazing.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallem comes out tonight!! Gosh, I want to see it...3 months...3 months...3 months til the dollar theater... Oh man, so frugal!
Well, THAT's a little creepy!

Sophomoric: immature or shallow
You know what I realized today?
I smile too much
Yup, I'm sitting in class, and all of a sudden I start wondering why does my face feel sore? And then I realize that I have this perma-grin on my face and I try to smooth it out a bit so it doesn't look like I'm smiling, but then a minute later something makes me laugh, and it starts all over again. Don't get me wrong, I love me some toothy smiles, but I think I should tone it down a bit and start acting a bit pissed so that darn smile doesn't return. It's a disease I tell you! A disease!
Last day of spanish! I'm going to miss that class....Tom, Sr. Yarnton, the stool, "charlando-ing" Fridays, story time... Good times, good times

You could 'cause you can so you do
Busy weekend
Hanging w/ Gio and Uncle Jon and Aunt Rosana, Phil Wickham, BBQ w/ the volleyball folks (I love these people!), singing duets w/ Amy Peterson, church, baby shower, Laker's game, Dad's get-together
Today I saw Oops again. His real name isn't Oops. Actually I have no idea what his real name is, but that's all right. Probably the most awesome male 6th grader I've ever met. We gave each other super high-5's when the Lakers went into overtime and screamed a little bit. It's been a good day!
Now time to hit the books. Work on a little chem, eat a little jello, take a little nap...and then 1 more week of school!

Introspective much?
I wish...
I wish I wasn't such a little wimp
I wish I baked wonderful treats and goodies for everyone
I wish I was good at baking wonderful treats and goodies for everyone
I wish I wore more dresses and skirts
I wish I had more guy friends
I wish for many things, and it makes me realize how selfish I am
I don't want things to change, I don't want people to leave, I don't want to give things up
But despite everything, I'm glad things are changing. I want to meet new people, go to new places, try new things, get out of my little bubble.
Sometimes I wonder if everyone thinks as much as I do. It doesn't really seem like it, but maybe I don't appear to worry about anything either. I just put on this appearance of everything being all good inside by abnormally shaped head. I hope everyone doesn't think as much as I do though, because it's not so fun! Constantly having doubts and worries, overthinking and analyzing everything... There I go again!
Goodness gracious, I believe this is the first serious, introspective blog I've ever posted!
Thank God for weekends, summer vacation, wonderful music, Phamily, and little Gio=]

Glee Glee Glee
I wish I had an awesome camera that I could bring everywhere and people would look at me and say, "Man, look at the girl carrying a camera. I bet she uses it to picture blog." Yup, that would be the life. Perhaps people have this little invention called the "camera phone," but that's just nonsense! Camera phone, that little handy dandy device that is perfect for that nook and cranny in your pocket and whenever an occasion occurs (let's just say 3rd period Physical Education) you can just whip it out and take a picture?? Pshh, lame!!

It amazes me how different some places are
Western High School's dance class is FANTASTIC. It's amazing how many awesome dancers could be in one little school. I wish I could dance. I wish I could dance well. I wish dances weren't so slutty. I wish...
Dangit! My pictures with JoLiza are on the other computer! Oh well, another picture post than... But congrats JoLiza for your BOMB performance! Crazy crazy good dancer. Oh, and congrats to Vivi for her graduation today! Too bad Georgia is so far away...

I AM YOUR MOTHER!!
hahahaha, I love SNL. It's kind of amazing
Lots of Phamily time this weekend. Staying up til 4 w/ Khue, talkin about anything and everything. Fast and Furious (Paul Walker is GORGEOUS). Eating Mediterranean food. Oh my Ganache! Eating massive breakfast burritos. Making ridiculously fatty and delicious deserts. Spending way too much money on clothes. Watching tons of movies. Ignoring homework. Listening to the soundtrack of Glee on repeat. Laughing at Khue. It felt like summer all weekend, and let me tell you, it felt terrific!
Becky, I'm sorry I forgot to sign up! My mom reminded me that you called, and I when I wanted to sign up, all the shifts were taken for 3rd period=[
Okay, now let's get cracking on this Tempest nonsense...but not until I put up a picture of Paul Walker
